Seeing yourself differently is often the first step to living the life you truly want to live.
I am a trailblazer in my field, dedicated to fostering growth and facilitating positive change to help people build better lives. This is what truly excites me about my job. In recognizing that each person’s narrative is distinctive, I help people explore their life story. Comprehending the underlying roots of your experiences, their role in shaping you, and your subsequent adaptations.
Here is the history that led me to do what I do now:
Cathy Levy, CSW, has been a practicing psychotherapist for three decades. I specialize in the treatment of depression, relationship issues, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders and substance abuse. I have successfully helped patients in improving communication skills and building constructive
interpersonal relationships.
Having received clinical training in psychotherapy and nursing at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center, I assumed a supervisory role in the dual diagnostic eating disorder program at Regent Hospital in New York City for a period of five years. Additionally, I have been a guest lecturer at various public events, symposiums, television talk shows and volunteered on hotlines to assist 9/11 victims. I have also mentored and supervised other colleagues in the field.
